Chapter 29: My Life Was Better When I Didn’t Know You

But as it turned out, Helene does not lose consciousness and still realizes what’s happening. The girl lies on her stomach with her head turned to the side for a few seconds, opening her eyes or closing them and seeing the fire spreads rapidly throughout the whole room, and it’s getting harder to see something due to the smoke that clouds everything. But then she moves all the parts of her body slowly and starts to sit up. Her vision gets kind of worse, the pain keeps squeezing her head, a sense of nausea keeps torturing her, and the weakness makes her wish to lie down and fall asleep deeply.
