We were riding down this road on my motorbike Your arms wrapped around my body tightly Your head resting on the back of my shoulder I told you to let go of me, to raise your arms and enjoy the moment While my hand held on tight to the bike and the other on your thigh The second you let go I felt freedom and trust like I never did before. For the first and last time.

I was looking on my Phone, seeing Stories and Posts with Happy Faces, not replying to my Texts - And I was starting to wonder why I feel so useless, they were just spamming me that one day, calling for help, desperately telling me something Until I realized it's not useless, it's USE-LESS They use me when they need me, or nobody is around, when they don't need me they USE me LESS I should feel happy & worried about it at the same time, happy about used-less but worried about needed-less

I was sitting by the River, that was softly moving below my Shoes. The Skyline of the City was shining brightly in the Sunlight, that was losing its strength the last Days. Fall was close. The Buildings and Streets with all the rush and noise were far, far enough to calm my Mind. My Mind that was haunted by the thoughts of the things that happened the last Weeks. Was it the Silence I was wishing for or was I getting numb? Building up broken Walls make Places silent, Souls too.

I almost died - down there in Tampa. The surfboard hit my head and the waves crashed over me. The ocean took my mind, into the wild, down to places where no feet will ever walk. The waves washed off what's good and left just blurry memories. I left a part of me in the water and I will never get it back. Never.

My tears woke me from my dreams about you, about us. -We were hanging out by the river, like we always did. With beer in our hands, too young to drink, but we didn't care. You're walking into the Water and you raised the bottle a last time, then you disappeared.- The hands of the Girl besides me holding tight to my shirt, asking not to leave, not tonight, this night you left me, her, us, 5 years ago. I had to go, for a walk, just for a while with a promise on my lips. "I'll come back"

I heard someone say "you're not afraid of the dark, you're only afraid of what's in it". I for myself never been afraid of the dark, I'm afraid of the light sneaking into the dark, giving birth to weird dancing shadow creatures, trying to grab you by your feet. The dark smoothly surrounds you, wraps you in it's cozy blanket, safe from all.
