Why does God allow bad things happen to good people....

This is such a common question and also one of the most difficult questions to answer to me, until now. It’s not a simple answer.The way I look at it I personally feel like God does not allowbad things happen to us, but more like we accept the bad things to happen due to lack of understanding.I think that some people whether they’re good people and kind hearted or bad people and selfish I think that they are very oblivious to the way God and the enemyworks,

“if you seek for me wholeheartedly you will find me” Jeremiah 29:13

“Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away.”

‭‭James‬ ‭1:14‬ ‭

“Be These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.”

‭‭James‬ ‭1:15‬ ‭

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary(opponent) the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.”1 Peter 5:8-9.

You see the enemy will try to use temptation, lies, fear, and pride as his attacks to us. And if we are not strong enough in our faith and relationship with god, we welcome these things into our life without knowing. Therefor bad things will happen in our lives. With that being said I’m going to add 2 more things,

1.The enemy needs permission.

“He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him.”Mark 1:27

And the Lord said to Satan, "Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person." So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord. Job1:12

And when I say that I don’t mean he needs you to call himand welcome him in your life but by us giving in to the small things that the enemy uses to attack us it is like he is slowly luring us in without even realizing it. That’s why it’s so important to be careful with the words that we speak on a daily basis, I.E “ I hate my life, I hate my neighbor, Wishing death on yourself or others, constant complaining etc. ” because our words have much more power in our lives then what we realize. Us complaining and bad mouthing our lives is exactly what the enemy wants us to do, therefor giving him power, control and permission to enter our lives.

“Gentle words are a tree of life; a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭15:4‬

“ Wise words will win you a good meal, but treacherous (guilty of or involving betrayal or deception)people have an appetite for violence. Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything.”

But if we use our words and call out to God with full heart and prayer, worship, grate-fullness and repent from our sinsand surrender this situation to God 100% God will cast out any evilness that the enemy is using to try to attack us.

The second thing I would like to add is how to stop the enemy. First of all The human flesh has no power over the enemy without the word of God. So to fight And destroy the attacks of temptation , lies, fear and pride, thatthe enemy is trying to do to us, we have to call out to God, repent and pray, and the enemy will obey Gods word, and the things that are going wrong in our life, will turn around and will be used to share the glory to God how he saved and protected you . The enemywill obey Gods command, and if you trust in the lord with all your might and put on the Armor Of God to protect you from the war of the enemy, God will cast out the enemy from your life.

Romans 8:31 If God is for us, Who can be Against US.

“Satan replied to the Lord, “Skin for skin! A man will give up everything he has to save his life.”

“But reach out and take away his health, and he will surely curse you to your face!” “All right, do with him as you please,” the Lord said to Satan. “But spare his life.” So Satan left the Lord’s presence, and he struck Job with terrible boils from head to foot.”

( I feel like this scripture in a way is like god giving the enemy permission to do as he pleases but spare his life, so after the enemy struck Job, Job can find the lord through his hardship and build his relationship and faith with god. )

“If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall. The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10:12-13‬ ‭

2 Samuel 22:29

“For You are my lamp, O Lord; the Lord shall enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop; by myGodI can leap over a wall. As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him."(2 Samuel 22:29)

“Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.”

Do you ever question why when things are finally starting to turn around and things are starting to finally be good in your life bad things happen, that’s because the enemy does not attack the weak for the weak are alreadyexactly where he wants them, but it’s the strong ones the happy ones the faithful ones that he goes after. The ones who are grateful and thankful in their lives. He attacks those who are strong in faith and try’s to manipulate us so he can turn us against God and each other, and destroy our everlasting life. The enemy and God are in a battle and the enemy uses us Gods children to win Power against god.

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

— ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭41:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

If you look for god if you call out to god if you pray to God with all your heart he well come to you he will answer your prayers he will heal your broken heart he will move mountains for you.

Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”

Matthew 17:20

“So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths

One last thing I would like to add. Is that gods word is ALWAYS TRUE! God is, always been, and always will be!

I heard a pastor say that the Bible is not an old book it’s a timeless book, it’s doesn’t just tell us what happened it tells us what always happens!
