If what is real is dictated hy what I care about then am I killing things I care about when I write? What if I control the fate of another whom I never knew existed? Do my characters live another place somewhere far away? Or are they me trapped in a device of my own making.

The if the instance is breath based it would be deemed a natural influence of flame, rather than magical. Many are confused as why Fire resistance is so specific.

Basha is deep within the Badlands. It sits somewhere inside of what used to be Michigan United States. No maps of the old world have been recovered, so this is the guess for most of the Badlands living residents. Terrible Sandstorms beat down the settlement on a regular basis. Reports of Salamences and Hell Hounds have been frequented by the residents. Often times the settlement is left having to rebuild a fair portion of its buildings, for those who survive these disasters.

Mercenaries once were common in the old world, now the name is simply anyone willing to risk their life in exchange for bits. The little plastic blocks happen to be easy to find all over. the old world must have had an abundance. The Mercenaries typically ask for a down payment of bits before they get the job done, then the rest on completion. That has been the mercenary way since 4567. The Mercenaries last recorded guild or group was in 5128.

A few people dare call themselves mercenaries. They go into the Badlands and hunt the beasts within, for a price. Otherwise they will not interfere unless it's a threat to their own lives. Mercenaries only ever seem to want one thing. Currencies. Currencies is our new way of saying old world money. Although, for the most part, the only thing of value for us to trade with are something called "Legos". We use these as bits, bits being the main used money in the Badlands.

We no longer see a full humans life span in this world. The Badlands have so many deadly creatures, even before we see out weather which is just as devastating. Humans due to these severe living conditions rarely exceed thirty years of age. Aby who travel are likely to die before reaching their destination because of the harsh world the old world has left us to live in.

This is what the world is now referred to. The old world, what used to be before the war that caused humanity to nearly get entirely wiped out, is pretty well lost to time, whatever may be there. Very few individuals have any interest in the finding of the lost artifacts of the old world, in fear that they themselves may not be ready for the power that may be lurking within the ruins. A few settlements are around each continent. However there is no predominant rule or influence in The Badlands.

Also commonly referred to by Japanese residents of the globe as Aragami. The beasts are known to consume anything they come into contact with. Never have people fought one and survived. No tech currently exists to the common knowledge. They have a similar appearance to dogs.

The Sailors Nightmare is a commoner name for this Sea Dragon. When it rises above the water it causes huge waves that devastate ships. When one is angered it will spew hot water at its selected target. Note: the temperature is so extreme it boils the areas fish if hitting more water. This is a creature never seen but mentioned often by sailors coming from all over the Badlands of the world.

Mutants look like they may have once been from a humanoid. Perhaps even human at one time. It has four arms, no eyes and it's flesh looks like it is just muscle alone. The sight is ghastly. When it screeches it's rumored to be the most devastating sound, that it could even cause one to go deaf, let alone it's ability to swing with electrical currents. This creature is considered extremely dangerous and should never be approached. They walk like humans, so be warned at nighttime of their shadows.

Mark Twiggs is suspected to have died in 2376, although there is no supporting evidence at this time. All of the old world artifacts have ceased to function for further local research. Something called the 'internet' was once owned by some guy by the name of 'Bell' who had invented the phone. He had bought the 'Bell' company in 2357.

A draconus is a hybrid between three things, Seth's very own DNA, demon DNA and assorted draconids. This is what makes the draconus have a bipedal appearance with their wings. The skeletal system is all heavily connected with over ten thousand bones in their bodies. Each wing has three hundred bones.

A Kisirantha is a flower that changes depending on its host planet. However, this flower is commonly used to brew ales of variety, along with many a perfumes amongst some of the world's it is Alive on, such as Heavith.
