You blinked and time did not stop. Between blinks your children grew, your grandchildren were born, your parents and grandparents passed away, and you stopped seeing friends.

You blinked and your life passed between studies, work, and the money that is never enough and the dreams that you left waiting for an "after" that never came. And while we blink and blink without considering the other, we lost laughter, hugs, caresses, kisses, love, and a last goodbye and "I love you" to that someone we will never see again.

I wonder: what if we stop blinking for a while? If we step aside from the bustle of daily life, from the automatism that modern life imprints on us and we start to look?

Look at your son while he plays, at your mother while she cooks, at your partner when you are together, and at your friends when you get together.

Get all the joy from time. After all, time is going to pass, it is going to devastate us; at least, let it takes us full of joy and good memories. But, above all, may time find us celebrating, because I believe that not even death can take those moments of happiness away. They remain engraved in infinite space, spreading energy to all the divine creation.
