Luke 19:41-44
As Jesus approached Jerusalem, He saw the city and wept over it. He said, "How I wish you knew today what would bring you peace! But now it is hidden from your eyes. The days will come when your enemies will build a wall around you, surround you, and close in on you from every side."
Some may think these words are illogical or beyond human understanding, but Jesus was not mistaken. Life is a gift, and what we have today is a future to be cherished. It's a glance, a hug, or gentle words. It may sound timid, but cover one eye and you won't see clearly, but uncover the other and you'll see your mother, children, or spouse smiling or serving dinner at the table - it's a blessing. Heaven is open to you and me every day.
You know there's something inside you called treasure that flows through your veins, making you invaluable to the universe. Even God delights in music, dance, and joy. Spend time with friends, drink coffee if it makes you happy. Enjoy life, for today is the time to be yourself and no one else. You're a marvel, a miracle, born from nothing. Don't let anyone misinterpret or manipulate you into doing wrong. You choose who to follow: life or death. Say no to darkness and seek the light, for at the end of the tunnel, someone is always waiting for you - Jesus, the Lion of Judah.
So, stop crying, forget the past, focus on the present, and look to the future, for that's what truly matters. Period.
