See what the detective's talking about. It's something about us.

Gemma took a bunch of knives out of her pocket. She swung them around her head, and threw them at everyone, stabbing everyone in the classroom except for Rachel.

Everyone was now covered in blood, but Rachel knew that she now had two choices.

"Surrender! Surrender! or, die and come to your worst nightmare!" Gemma said, staring into the eyes of Rachel.

The Donaldson's were exceptionally good people.

The Donaldsons were nice to everyone around them, but this time it was for one of them, Rachel Donaldson to start being rude about it.

She was the only good person not covered in blood!

Rachel thought that Gemma was a crazy, dangerous person like no other. Rachel decided to make one choice.

"I won't surrender, nor will I die!"

Rachel said.

"How will you do that?"

Gemma asked.

"You'll just have to wait and see."

Rachel said, pulling out a blood-sword.

"If you didn't know,"

Rachel continued.

"I have to power to rain blood! And, I have a blood-sword!"

"No, this can't be! I am supposed to be the one with that sword and with those powers! You stole them from me, you little theif!"

Gemma said.

"Well, are you too scared to fight, or what?"

Rachel asked.

"Oh, I'm not scared, this is your last day alive, Rachel! In a few seconds, there will be a blood-dripping, fearful fighting, action adventuring kill!"

Gemma said.

Rachel knew that this was going to be worse if she was defeated. It would make her family sad, her friends sad, and it would make her sad.

"I'm not going to lose to you!"

Rachel said, getting ready for battle.

Rachel was not going to lose to a suspicious classmate.

But what she didn't know was something bad would happen. It wouldn't be that she would die. Nor would it be that she would lose to evil Gemma.

A few seconds later, a detective and some police officers came in.

"What in the world is going on here?"

A police officer said, handcuffs in his pocket, walking towards Gemma and Rachel.

"Come here, now!"

Rachel came over to the police officer.

The police officer put cuffs on her, and Rachel started to go in shock.

"Now, Gemma come here. And if you guys didn't know, these handcuffs will take away both of your powers, no matter what you do, how you try to get them or try to steal them."

The police said.

The detective grabbed ahold of Rachel and had her sit in the cop car. When the police got Gemma, they put Rachel in one seat of the car, and Gemma in chains in the other.

"Rachel, 15 years in prison for you. Gemma, 37 years for you."

The detective said.

Rachel couldn't believe it. She was going to jail as a 10-year-old.

"I cannot survive in prison!"

"Nor can I, I'm just a vampire!"

"No, you aren't, you're just a crazy old child who knows how to do nothing!"

"You two stop!"

Both of us stopped.

Seconds later, Rachel got in one police car, and Gemma got in the other.

"It is going to take us three hours and 27 minutes to take you guys to prison. Be prepared and come clean!"

They drove there as Rachel watched Gemma in the back seat of the other car turn around and pull out a knife.

We got to the prison and into our cells. They chained Gemma to a wall and chained me to nothing.

"You better be careful,"

The detective began.

"We have had people die here."

The next morning, 7:00 AM

I wrote in my diary.

Dear Diary,

You don't understand how bad prison is. You sit in there doing nothing. You go into the cafeteria and get breakfast. Then you sit in there again, and again. You must pay for lunch. I was starving for it! since I was new, they gave me a tray. But they didn't give me dinner because of that though. Today was worse than yesterday. Yesterday, you may be asking.

I fought with an evil person named Gemma. Gemma acted a lot like a vampire, and that's how I got here. It took 3 hours plus the whole night to get here. It was the worst day of my life.

Rachel paused, looking around for Gemma.

"Gemma must be in a security cell."

Rachel whispered.

She started to think that Gemma and she weren't allowed to be near each other.

"I wonder what happened to all the other kids and my teacher."

Rachel said.

She listened to the detective and a police officer talk about Gemma and Rachel's prison night.

"I bet they'll escape,"

"I know, we've just got to keep an eye on them. We cannot trust them, and they cannot trust us."

Rachel felt a soft feather touch the top of her head. As she stopped talking to herself, she felt a strange thing open her heart. She turned around and there stood Gemma.

"I think I owe you an apology. Would you like to team up and get out of here?"

"I don't know. We can talk later because I think you should go see what the detective's talking about. It's strange; in fact, it's something about us."

* * *

Rachel woke up that morning. A police officer was screaming and shouting at her.

"Get out there, lazy child! We have some work for you to do."

Rachel groaned, and slowly jumped out of bed. Her eyes kept blinking a thousand times, her mouth was wide open, and she wouldn't move.

Rachel finally started to walk towards the cell doors. The officer and the detective took her to a room and told her what to do. Rachel went in shock.

"I can't do this! It'll take hours!"

"Yes, you can, we're not going to baby sit you while you whine. Just do what we said. We'll be back at lunch."

Rachel watched the detective walk out. The officer smiled.

"This is going to be the perfect task for you. I cannot wait to see what you're going to do."

The officer slammed the door and pulled out a key. He locked the doors and turned on green and red lasers.

"Now get to work!"

A voice screamed, as Rachel turned to a speaker.

"Don't just sit over their child, do what they told you to do!"

Rachel got to work. The speaker started to scream at her to work harder. Hours have past and Rachel was burned, stabbed, tired, hot, and hungry.

A knock came to the door. Rachel was finally free. She didn't feel like a worker anymore. This time she felt like a smiling, happy child who had a normal life.

She ate lunch and wrote in her diary.

"Dear diary,

So far this has been a very exhausting day. The police woke me up at 7:08 exactly and took me to a room where I had to work. Now I'm at lunch. Something good is happening though, but it's odd.

Gemma asked me to forgive her. She said that she won't be bad anymore. She said that I should team up with her to help escape. What should I do? This isn't the same anymore! I don't get it. Why is she asking me these questions and is she serious?"

After writing in her diary, she headed for her cell. She saw that Gemma was in there and she was putting something in there.

"Hey Rachel, I've decided how to escape. I'm going to hide under your bed and wait for the alarm to go off. After it goes off, I'll have you bomb this wall. Then we'll jump out of here and to safety. How does that sound?"

"Are you sure about this?"

"Certainly! I know what I'm doing. I can still make no promises."

"Sure! Do you have a backup plan? If we don't then we need one, or else the police are going to treat us like shit!"

"I don't. We'll just have to deal with it."
