Chapter 1: The Transformation

Colby had always been an early riser. As a born-again Christian, he believed that the best way to start his day was by having some quiet time with God. He would usually read his Bible and pray before heading out to work at his family's business.

But on this particular day, Colby felt a strong urge to go for a swim in the lake. His family's lake house was located right on the water's edge, and he had always enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake. So he put on his swimming trunks and headed out to the dock.

As he jumped into the water, he felt a sudden jolt. It was as if he had hit a wall. He tried to swim up to the surface, but he couldn't move. Panic set in as he realized that he was unable to breathe. He tried to swim back down, but it was like the water was holding him in place.

Suddenly, he felt a strange sensation throughout his body. It was as if his body was changing. He looked down and saw that his arms and legs were starting to grow fins and scales. He tried to scream, but no sound came out. The more he tried to fight it, the more his body transformed.

Colby couldn't believe what was happening to him. He had heard stories about people turning into underwater creatures, but he never thought it would happen to him. He tried to get out of the water, but his new fins and tail made it impossible to move.

He looked up to the surface and saw that it was now far away. He felt helpless and alone, stranded in the middle of the lake. But then something strange happened. He felt a warmth spreading throughout his body, as if someone was watching over him.

As he continued to breathe underwater, he felt a sense of calmness wash over him. It was like he was meant to be in the water. He started to swim around, exploring the depths of the lake. He saw fish and other underwater creatures that he had never seen before. He felt a connection to the water, like it was a part of him.

But as the day wore on, Colby started to feel tired. He knew that he needed to get out of the water soon. He tried to swim up to the surface, but it was like there was an invisible force holding him back.

He started to panic again, feeling like he was trapped in this underwater world forever. But then he felt the warmth again, and he knew that he wasn't alone. He closed his eyes and prayed, asking God to help him.

Suddenly, he felt a presence leading him out of the water. He opened his eyes and saw a bright light shining above him. He felt relieved and followed the light out of the water.

As soon as he stepped out of the water, he felt his body start to change back to its normal form. He looked around and saw that everything was back to normal. The lake was calm, and the sun was shining. He couldn't believe what had just happened to him. He sat down on the shore and prayed, thanking God for saving him.

From that day on, Colby knew that his life had changed forever. He had become an aquatic human, and he knew that he had a purpose to fulfill. But he also knew that he had to keep his transformation a secret. He didn't know what would happen if people found out about him.

As he walked back to the lake house, he felt a sense of excitement and fear. He didn't know what the future held for him, but he knew that he had to trust in God's plan.
