I'm the Big Captain in land
the biggest of them all,
chased and captured my dreams
as the god I am, full
of brightness. Loading my ship,
I invested in the sea,
sang bravely with mermaids,
fought bloodly with pirates
who wanted to steal my dreams.
Until the cold nights
swallowed me like whales
swallowing schools of fish,
in the turmoil of my great
mind and arrested heart
I open widely my fragile lips
but through my teeth
only is how I could sing:
Somebody help me save
Whoa whoa
My ship that's going away
Whoa whoa
I left my tears and dreams to
float across the seven seas
and I yeld to the hurricane
Whoa whoa
Somebody help me save
Whoa whoa
My ship that has drown away.
I close my eyes as
the cold water reachs
although my heart aches
under brave waves
Somebody help me say
Whoa whoa
Somebody help me say
Whoa whoa
Goodbye to this lovely land
