Maybe

Maybe,
Maybe it’s your eyes,
Maybe it’s your smile,
They shine so bright,
They can melt my heart,
Maybe you would,
I wish to say,
Help me to break,
Out of this pain,
Maybe it’s the night,
That it’s so black,
That echoes your hair,
Maybe it’s the grin,
That born in my face,
when i hear you speak,
Maybe the truth,
The truth that i hate,
Think about you,
It’s not so good,
That all that i need,
It is to rest,
To rest of this love,
Maybe of you.

Are you then saying... How I think about you? Meaning my inner thought is not good? May 31, 2021, 15:41

I believe the poetry is for the soul of the reader, whatever the reader thinks and feels reading a poem is the right way. The way i felt writing those verses is that thinking on a person(from a past, unrequited or toxic relationship) is not good for you, you're torturing yourself with the things that you should have done, the possibility of that person to come back etc. Every thought you waste on that circle only robs you the opportunity to move on. In other words: Thinking in you is not so good for me. The way I see this poem is someone slowly coming to the realization that loving this person is not healthy. May 31, 2021, 16:22
