Something unexpected fell from the sky, destroying everything in its path in a small village.
Some claimed it was a meteorite, while others couldn't even imagine what was happening.
"Help! Help!" many voices cried out, as everyone ran wildly while an intense fire consumed the village.
"My baby!" "Please, help me!" "Why is this happening?" However, only one man seemed to understand what was happening at that moment.
He was very tall and strong, with white hair that stood up in the wind and piercing blue eyes.
"No, no, no, no, no," he shouted at the thing that had just fallen from the sky, as if trying to give it orders.
And although his body was badly injured, he struggled to stay upright. He approached it and said, "Please, calm down."
But before he could reach it, a sudden explosion occurred, and everything began to fade from his eyes.
"No, no, no, no, no." It was then that the thing spread its wings and flew, keeping its gaze fixed on a child who was now alone and crying on the ground. "Damn it, damn it, damn it. I can't die, no, no, no."
As he lay on the ground, several meters away from the completely destroyed village, the man was trying to get up, looking horrible with several open wounds, his legs broken and without the strength to even sit up.
"What are you thinking, you idiot bird?" he shouted, looking at the thing that had fallen and was now flying in the skies above the village.
"Stop, stop!" "Can't you see what you've caused?" But the thing's attention was focused on the child, and it was now heading towards him at high speed. "No, no, no, what do you think you're doing?" the man shouted, watching as the thing crashed into the child at high speed.
"Why, why, why..." the man said, tears in his eyes as he contemplated the scene. "What have you done?" It was hard for the man to know what was happening, as a bright light covered everything, and he could only imagine the worst. A few minutes later, the light began to fade, and the child was seen lying unconscious on the ground, but the creature was nowhere to be seen.
"I-I... this wasn't the plan, you weren't..." The man seemed to understand what had happened, so he made a great effort, got up, and walked towards the child.
"Is he your son?" "Is he okay?" "I think something horrible just happened to him."
"Is he alive?" The villagers were asking thousands of questions, but the man gestured for everyone to be silent. "He's fine, he's fine, he's not hurt."
"Are you sure? He looks badly injured." "No, no, just scratches, I'll take care of him from now on." The man said, as white wings emerged from his back, and with the child in his arms, he flew into the skies, disappearing into the clouds.
