Bladed have gone by many names, Outcasts, Devils, Demons, Demigods, Spirits, and more, but for the last two centuries, they've been the Bladed.
Most Bladed have abilities not unlike a normal person, some could be chocked up to incredible luck, training, flexibility, or sleight of hand, maybe even incredible singing voices or great words in songs.
But the story I'm telling you is about one of the most powerful Bladed that has existed since George Washington, whose ability was that any man who saw him truly determined couldn't stand in his way.
I'm not saying all Bladed are good people, some used their abilities for evil, depending on how you look at it. Genghis Khan's ability was that nothing moving slower than an arrow could hurt him, and Hitler's was the ability of public speech. His allowed him to make anyone believe anything he said, as long as he truly believed it.
Anyways, back to my story.
There Are four categories of Bladed Abilities, the first, and usually weakest, is the abilities that affect others, such as George Washington's and Hitler's.
The second is the abilities that affect your body, such as Khan's.
The third, and second rarest, so rare that only people in a few legends had one, are the abilities that affect the objects touched by the Bladed, such as King Midas'.
The fourth, is the rarest, and most don't consider it to exist. I've only known of one person who had one, and he, well, I, call it: a creation ability.
You might of figured it out by now, but I'm the one the story is about.
I've been called many things, but I go by Forge.
My ability is by far one of the strangest I've heard of, so I don't use it unless the situation calls for it. I prefer not to tell anyone it, so you may find it out someday, but not right now. I am writing this story as it happens in my head.
End of Week One. P.s. Most old country singers had Bladed Abilities too. Jerry Reed could hear about anything to do with trucking before it happened.
