The war started with a fire in Djibouti.
The fire began at the base of a volcano, and spread rapidly, burning its way to Djibouti City.
It was not a very large fire, and experienced firefighters got it under control quickly.
The fire did not make international news, although several local journalists interviewed scientists to discover the cause of a fire springing up out of nowhere.
The people of Djibouti were not worried.
The fire seemed insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
The people of Djibouti went on with their lives soon after.
