Gone

Thunder my screams and rage,

thunder my grief and disbelief!

Thunder and drown that death that lived us,

drown and thunder away this evil end!

I am anger inside, anger around,

anguish and ransom I see in these clouds.

The mocking sun and cold shout me clown,

I wish their destruction, forever and now.

Let me go, now, let me free,

A peaceful night and dream is all I long.

Years have passed and I've seen it not,

I've seen the void and solace, the tear and terror.

The scene you set, what use of it?

as best we could we tried to star your drama.

We acted and cried this darkness away,

no claps at the end, no flowers or smiles.

Now broken, who lifts this soul?

I wish the darkness lasting, I wish the end.

We are gone, not to be found.

We are gone, now, no reason, no home.

We are gone.

The End

Meet the author

Cristian Orellana In search of sanity and peace. I write short poems, they give me solace and happiness. Rather dark and cryptic, I do hope they connect with someone. I am an amateur writer, and I hope to improve the more I write and learn. Thank you for reading. I also do some instagraming, look for me as @chirimantecman.
