The points won will be automatically added to the individual record of the participants, and at the same time, it will be reflected in the general ranking of The Authors' Cup. We will update the standings of the competition every Friday.

General rules

Sanctions may be applied if a breach is detected including (in the worst case scenario) stripping the winner's title.

Sanctions

Sanctions are a penalty established for those who infringe one or more of the rules of the competition and/or the Community Guidelines. Three levels of sanctions have been stipulated:

Committing a serious infraction will involve the immediate expulsion of the The Authors's Cup.

All penalties are subject to deduction of points in the general ranking of the equivalent challenge up to a maximum of three times of the points earned in the challenge on which the user has been sanctioned. The sanction in no case can leave any individual user's score in less than 0 points.

Harassment of other participants, judges, ambassadors, or other parties during the Cup, directly or indirectly, is strictly forbidden and could result in a serious penalty.

EXTRA POINTS: Authors will have the possibility to earn up to 10 additional points if they publish and promote their stories in their respective social networks, tagging @getinkspired (Instagram), or Inkspired (Facebook), or @getinkspired on Twitter using the hashtag #TheAuthorsCup , every time they do it. • Characters' development: Has the appropriate description been established to differentiate which are the main characters, as well as the antagonists and secondary ones?

  • Cover picture: Is the cover creative, original and according to the story?

  • Popularity on Inkspired: This refers to a compendium of interactions and traction among followers, likes, reviews, visits from readers and comments in the story.

  • Potential to become a book series: The novel has the potential to continue to be written and become a book of several volumes and/or chapters.

  • Universe Design: The story is part or belongs to a greater world/universe design already created in the platform using the Universe Maker tool. The Universe should have clear, relevant and justifiable data about the macro setting of the story added to it.
