This project is for the National November Writing Month 2023, and is intended as an exploration into what our society considers just, and is a comparison with what rights and freedoms we are offered as citizens and what we expect. This work is an exploration into a subject I have often talked long and hard about, and serves as my analysis of these items.
As such, I feel I need to clarify the following:
- The words within are my opinion, and should not be taken as objective fact, nor the views of Inkspired or any other platform this appears on. These are based on my experiences in the workplace and with society at large. I will cite sources when I can - the majority of citations will be websites and follow the APA format to the best of my ability(1).
-Normally, all citation headers would be superscript. This option is not presently possible with inkspired, so all references will show up in line with text. Not much I can do about this.
-All views shared will be based on my current residency in Canada, based on experience living in Nova Scotia and British Columbia. I may comment on other situations(such as experiences and tales from friends living in the United States), but the vast majority of my views will be from here.
-If you do not agree with any of the views presented here, please engage with me. I am a reasonable person, and more than willing to change my mind with evidence. Discussion and discourse are the one way we can fix these issues.
Thank you, and please enjoy the following exploration.
