Broken hearted, shattered dreams,

Tears fall like a never-ending stream,

Love so pure and true,

But now it's all but blue.

Promises made, forever to be kept,

But all that is left is an ache in my chest,

The love that once bloomed so bright,

Now faded into a cold, dark night.

I cry and scream, asking why,

Why did you have to say goodbye,

My shattered heart, it won't mend,

For you were my soul's closest friend.

I thought we had it all,

But our love just couldn't stand tall,

The pain is too much to bear,

For now, it's just you, but I am not there.
