Lese Dir die Beschreibungen der unterschiedlichen Herausforderungen sorgfältig durch, bevor Du teilnimmst. Wende Dich gerne an uns bei möglichen Fragen über unser @authorscup Twitter oder Instagram, via E-Mail, oder nutzen der Community-Gruppen für diesen Wettbewerb. Denke daran, dass Du auf "Teilnehmen" und dann "Herausforderung als erledigt markieren" klickst, wenn Du alle Aufgaben abgeschlossen hast , damit deine Herausforderungen zählen. Nur Herausforderungen, die als abgeschlossen markiert sind, werden von unseren Mitarbeitern einem Überprüfungsprozess unterzogen. Das Ergebnis bestimmt, ob Du die Punkte erhältst oder nicht. Herausforderungen, die nicht als abgeschlossen markiert wurden, werden nicht gewertet. Darüber hinaus werden Herausforderungen, die als erledigt markiert und aber tatsächlich nicht erledigt sind, abgelehnt. Warnung: Wenn Du keine Punkte erhältst, kannst Du dich nicht erneut bei der Herausforderung teilnehmen, und Du verlierst diese Punkte. Es werden jeden Monat weitere Herausforderungen auftauchen, und es können einige von einem zum anderen Tag ohne Vorwarnung erscheinen (Flash-Herausforderungen). Wenn Du also diese temporären Herausforderungen meistern möchten, behalten Sie unsere offiziellen Social-Media-Kanäle und diese Seite im Auge.Choose any story of yours on Inkspired. It could even be one that you have already published prior to the competition or a new story but it must belong to you. Apply for "Receiving payments from readers" either under "Donations" or "One-off" or "Memberships" payments and make sales of up to US $100 or more before the end of The Authors' Cup. Only payments earned during the competition, after clicking on "Participate", will count.
For every story you have published for The Authors’ Cup throughout the competition, you need to have posted about it on at least 2 social media channels in between: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin or TikTok mentioning our @getinkspired account, and the hashtag #TheAuthorsCup.
Write 12 Poems in different stories, and publish 2 per week until the end of the competition. Each Poem has to be a separate story, but all of them must include the same challenge hashtag. You can use any style you wish, but all poems must rhyme and talk about one single theme.
Create a BLOG story type, and write 12 articles (2 per week) until the end of the competition. Articles may be written around the following topics: writing tips, publishing in creative media, how to market yourself as a creator, how to use interactive storytelling, worldbuilding, and how to sell your stories online. At the end, upload a youtube video summarizing your blog, mentioning the link to your own blog story on Inkspired. Do not forget to use the hashtags also in the youtube video.
Publish a small series of webcómics about any topic or genre, where the storytelling, the quality of drawing, and the framing style will be the decisive factors. You need to publish at least 5 chapters with at least 10 pages on each one.
Organize a Writing Contest. You can pair up (optionally) with any other participant of The Authors' Cup to do it, except anyone that has already been your co-author in any of your stories. Create a fun Writing Contest in any category/genre that challenges writers to write any kind of story in any format. Your objective is to get at least 50 people to participate before the end of the competition. Read more in "additional rules"
Tell a story in small parts using the "microfiction" format on mobile apps. You can create a new story or adapt an older story you may have. Adapt it to be told in a mini-series, and publish one microfiction Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until the end of the competition. In the end, your micro-story must have 20 microfictions, have an ending, or a cliffhanger for a longer series. You must also use the challenge hashtags and your own hashtag during all the mini-series, in a way to link up all the microfictions.
- Create a new Universe with at least 5 entries in every Glossary. - Add at least 3 linked stories, microfictions, and/or Media. - Mention your Glossaries in the chapters of your linked stories; at least 1 entry per Glossary. - Publish your Universe with a 100% profile completion, including a cover picture and a banner picture. - Get at least 30 followers, 50 likes, and 50 upvotes in total in any combination in your Glossaries.
Co-write a story in a fantasy world that belongs to a narrative Universe of any of the authors. The central theme and plot are up to you, but it must comply with 3 rules: - You need to have a minimum of 2 other co-authors (or a maximum of 3 other co-authors), helping you write your story, and they must be participants of The Authors Cup. - You must keep updating the story every week until the end of the competition. - You must use visual art that supports the story at least once in every chapter.
Accumulate 3500 Reward Credits and reach Inkspired's Level 10. As soon as you do it, mark this challenge as "completed".
Choose one of your stories (published on Inkspired) and make it a film script. You need to write it with the respective dialogue-based format. On the story's description, you must state which story you choose. The screenplay must have the same amount of chapters as the original story.
Read 1 different story each week, from any author within the platform, and leave a *review* in the story using the "send review" option on the website and/or the mobile apps. What are the strengths, the weaknesses, the things to improve, etc… The reviewed stories must be from different authors. You cannot repeat the same author twice.
Write a story based on real-life events from your personal experience: Even though it must be personal and based on your real experiences, you can add some fictional elements to enrich the plot. Avoid using real names. Use memoir as narrative. Describe real places and locations. You are the protagonist.
Create 3 thematic Reading Lists with a minimum selection of 10 stories each, and get 50 votes in total before the end of the month.
Promote at least 10 stories of any of your favorite Inkspired writers on your Instagram, Twitter and/or Facebook profiles every week for the next 3 weeks. The promotion must contain information that encourages anyone to read that story. These 'posts' must be published progressively.
Create a fun video by introducing yourself as a writer in which you briefly tell about the stories you publish on Inkspired, your preferred genre and what is your goal as a writer. The video has to be published on your social networks and on YouTube with the Inkspired logo as a watermark or with the text: getinkspired.com. Also, you must tag 3 friends.
Write an "Interactive Story" about love, sacrifice, and heroism, containing multiple endings based on parallel universes. These parallel universes go along with the stories of the characters in terms of their lives in a cruel war (what would have happened if it never existed, what is happening now, and what would happen if it turns into a post-apocalyptic story). Develop at least these 3 paths of storylines with alternatives of a minimum of 10 chapters each. The story must be written in the form of a Memoir or Life story.
Win as a Team, Lose as a Team. You will need to team up with 9 other cup participants to co-author a story. You can only be a co-author of one story participating in the challenge, at a time. The Challenge is to have a Story compiling at least 10 short different stories of any kind or genre in separate chapters, and the winner will be the team that achieves it faster! Tip: use the official community group of The Author's Cup to get other co-authors.
Write and Publish an interactive drama story with an interesting plot. It must have at least 7 characters involved, whose decisions to be made (by the readers) are intertwined with the other characters. The first chapter of the story must be written in 3rd person POV, and each of the following chapters must be written from each character’s point of view.
On a published Universe you may have, accumulate a total of 50 upvotes between all your public glossaries.
Write a story based on ONE of the following genres: Galaxy wars, Mythology, or Angels/Demons. The story must be written in third-person POV. It must contain at least 4 characters: 1 main character, 1 antagonist, and 2 or more secondary ones.
Publish an interactive story about a creative perfect crime, written in "first-person" using the main character’s point of view, about a detective trying to find the guilty person, and with at least 4 different endings. The first chapters must develop the introduction and the plot. And the endings must be placed in different chapters and use "decisions" that the readers could take.
Write a short story about two cowboy enemies in the wild wild west setting about to take a duel to the death with their guns. The story must contain only dialogue without any sort of narration or description. Use the words they say to describe the motives behind the duel and the events that led to that situation. The story must end when one of them dies.
Invite at least 20 friends to join the platform, and all of them must publish at least 1 story or 5 microfictions, in any category.
Being inquisitive about other people's affairs may get you into trouble. Write a funny short story with an unexpected plot twist about someone cheekily sneaking into a room to try to overhear someone's else conversation, but he is busted at the end!
Write an interactive story in 1st person where the main character is forced to be in a situation where he has to make a fatal decision between a close friend's life (or family) or choosing the greater good. Let the reader decide what happens after that decision, and describe the pain and remorse the character is going through every step that takes him to the final call.
Publish at least 20 microfictions on Inkspired and your Social Network. Each microfiction has to be a dialogue by 1 character, and the next one has to be a dialogue by another. Involve as many characters as you want, but the complete group of microfictions has to be a conversation. Choose a theme between Action, LGBT+, Crime, or Science Fiction. Use a hashtag to indicate the order of the story, e.g. #Part1of20, #Part2of20
Write a "Short story" type, written entirely as a dialogue. You cannot write or describe anything else as a narrator; everything should literally be written as a conversation. All the information must be communicated by the characters at all times. The dialogue could involve as many characters as you wish; it could between 2, 3, or more characters. To develop the story plot, choose one of the following settings:
Write a serial story with short chapters of only 500 words each. You need 3 chapters, and publish 2 chapters per week until the end of the competition. The first chapter must start with the following phrase: "I heard them coming for me, and I couldn't control myself". And the last chapter should draw toward the conclusion with the phrase "I started to become what I swore to kill, and only he/she could stop me".
Co-write a Paranormal story. The plot is up to you, but it must comply with 2 rules: - You need to have 2 other co-authors from the same country, helping you write your story. They do not need to necessarily be participants of The Authors' Cup, but they should already be a user of Inkspired prior to the announcement of this challenge. - The story needs to have at least 6 chapters, with a length of 1500 words each. - Each co-author must write 2 chapters.
Get 75 likes or more in any story you have written in The Authors' Cup 2020 so far and participate to claim points.
Exchange 1000 Rewards Credits to complete this challenge.

In some countries around the world, we are celebrating mother's day. Even if it's not in your country yet, write 3 poems dedicated to them. The poems must be in verse (rhyme), and they should be in 1 story in 3 separate chapters.

Write (or translate) a story in any other language (not in English). It must have at least 3 chapters with 1500 words each and respect all the literature guidelines for writing, plus perfect grammar and spelling. You can either publish a new story or use a verified story you already had and translate it. You can cooperate with a coauthor in case you need to. You will need to publish the chapters on the day of the 8th, 11th, and 14th until midnight (check timezones).
